I actually have a rare form of kidney disease (it took 17 specialists at five different hospitals to diagnose me) and being chronically I'll takes a toll on your mind, body, and spirit.
What I can tell you, is the worst part is over. Waiting and not having answers is truly awful. With this answer you can learn to live. It's a process (not a fun one) but you'll learn.
If you ever need to talk, I'm always here. I know sometimes having someone who can relate to your struggle is so important.
