It doesn’t matter if you finish the story in one month or a year or ten years. I think that it is better to take your time writing, rather than meat the deadlines but publish crap. Also I pretty much don't care that people don't read my stories, because I write for myself. There was a period of time, when I chose topics that would please people, and yes I received a lot of positive feedback, but it wasn't worth it. If you love writing and you are proud of what you are doing, write. It doesn't matter how long it takes, how many readers or subscribers you have. Write because this is what you love doing, write because you want to do it, and only then your writing will evolve.
