Hey, don't fret love.
I'm so, so sorry you're struggling today, you and your son are in my prayers. He is going to be just fine in school, and you sound like an amazing mommy, so when he graduates MANY, MANY years from now, and becomes something really amazing, he'll have you to thank. It's a mother's job to worry. I just got in a ton of trouble for not getting enough sleep, so I'm letting you know there will be days when your son wants to hide in his room, but after fifteen minutes we always do tend to realize our parents were right :)
I bet he had an AMAZING day of school, and I student teach at MY old elementary school, and I can tell you it's nothing like it was when I was in elementary school, and it really hasn't been that long since I was in elementary school, and it is very different. Even though it seems our society is getting worse, I feel like the teachers, and the general elementary school atmosphere is getting better.
