I'm completely deaf. My whole family signs and I'd never really been around hearing people that couldn't. So i never really learnt to lip read. I can I just have to really work at it.March 15th, 2014 at 05:42am -
I'm hearing impaired, and I could probably get the Olympic gold in lip reading. If someone is standing across the room from me, I can easily pick up what they're saying without hearing them. I guess I just kind of adopted the talent because I got hearing aids at a young age, so since sometimes I have a difficulty understanding people, I always rely on watching people's lips when they speak so I can always be sure to catch what they're saying.March 14th, 2014 at 07:55pm
