    Awesome! :D

Yeah, I think I'm gonna do it, haha. Had my roots done today so, I might just dabble with the pink dye I have tonight, see what I can come up with! XD

That's true, it probably would hurt less just under the collar bone. It's a comfortable pain though, and you'll get something awesome at the end of it! :D

I will definitely try to take a good pic and upload it after the cut&color! And you totally should! They say pink and purple are the best colors to put in, because they fade prettily and everything, plus it'd just look cool. You know you want to! xD

And yeah, I know it's supposed to be much worse over bone, but considering under the collar bone isn't exactly on it and the outer forearm pretty much is right on the ulna... I'm not sure. Think Good to hear it gets numb, though!

Yeah, I figured there's no way to avoid the pain completely, but I just wanted to know if one was a horrifically painful spot or something. xD I know, I know. I just... my pain tolerance is really weird. Like, I can sit there with a person digging a needle around my knee trying to fish out a splinter, and I get pretty deep cuts all the time without even realizing I ran into something, but then at the same time, combing knots out of my hair brings tears to my eyes and my periods usually leave me writhing on the floor until I pass out. I don't understand myself.

You're totally right, though! I should really just walk into a parlor and actually ask a tattoo artist; I really have no excuse for not having done that yet. And I will! (:

  • In all honesty, both areas will hurt but it all depends on your tolerance for pain. I've got a tattoo on my forearm and WOW did that hurt. Usually I'm alright with my tattoos but that one was a killer, though it was probably due to the detail and the fact it took 5 hours... Below the collarbone will also sting since the skin on your chest is thin over the breast bone/clavical. But since your tattoo (which is a super awesome idea!) will only take about an hour or so, I think you'll be able to handle it. Either placement would look smart and the excitement of seeing the finished product will make it less painful.

Best thing to do is to talk to a tattoo artist and get their view on it, 'cause they know best (so my boss - owner of the tattoo parlour I work at - says). I hope you post a picture of it when you get the piece! :D

  • You'll have to take some pics of your new hair style, it sounds amazing! I've been experimenting with mine too, lately. I'm a natural blonde too and I agree, it gets boring! I'm thinking of putting some pink in mine. Not sure though.

But onto the tattoo! Great that you're getting one! :D I have four, but I want so many more, haha. I think it would look great in both places, really, but I've heard that getting a tattoo on or over bone, hurts like hell! would think that the place just under the collar bone would be more painful, more tender there. But what do I know? I had a small star tattooed onto the back of my neck and I nearly cried! XD It's painful for like the first few minutes, but then your skin goes numb. The outline hurts more than the colouring in parts.

Can't wait to see how it looks! :D
