This is beautiful Andy. Don't beat yourself up about it but do make sure you remember that girl and if need be think of her as an inspiration to take risks. We are all scared, we all want to do crazy things but we are scared. We want to tell that guy in maths class that he has the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. You want to scream to the world that you don't give fuck and you'll be who you want to be. While yes being young should involve some risk it is important to remember that just because you don't do it does not mean your life is any less important or spectacular as a risk taker. You are wonderful Andy I mean it, in every way.

Wow.. That's really tough.. Don't eat yourself up over it though. It's really inspiring.. I feel like I'm presented with situations with girls where I chicken out way too much and it kills me. I'm also very shy, but hearing this from someone like you is very powerful to me. Feel good knowing that you've made an impact on someone today. :)
