Okay, so there were a lot of terms that I didn't know, but probably because I only really play RPGs and MMORPGs. Oops.
Also, I'd like to add on that when I bought the WotLK expansion last year, it came with this booklet that had gamer terms in the back of it but all the definitions were totally whack (and I think they might have just come up with some) and I tested my brother anyway.

MMO = Massively Multiplayer Online
A.I. = Artificial Intelligence/Heroes/Champions that aren't played by gamers but by computers I guess.
PvP = Player vs Player
NPC = Non-Playable Character
ragdoll = when a player dies?
XP = experience
OP = overpowered
cheap = cheating/douchey move
Aggro = aggressive
Spawn = resurrection/when you get killed in a game but resurrects in base or something like that (this is in MMOs and MOBAs)
Grind = farming? I know this is the word you use when you repeat the game over and over again.
Sandbox = building????
GG = good game
FPS = First-Person Shooter

14. When the character is being built / rebuilt after a life has been lost / after you've been 'killed' in COD (only one I've heard it used in)
15. I don't think I've got this right, but is grinding not just when you repeat a task again and again? I used to get complained at by my friend because I continuously used the same moves again and again to kill his characters in Tekken and that's the phrase he would use.
16. When a game is pretty open-ended and you're given a lot of freedom around performing the tasks that you need to do.

Wow, I haven't heard some of these phrases in a minute. AFK was a right trip back to my fourteen-year-old self. I need to get back into my hardcore gaming phase again, this makes me miss it!
