They did it because Spiderman isn't doing as well as the previous remakes. Sony is feeling like they are taking risk after risk with Spiderman and they are trying to think about it's progress before commiting to it again. The Avengers are doing better than anything right now so they will try to squeeze out as much juice out of them as they can. I don't really mind because I enjoy it.
But really Spiderman belongs to Sony and Avengers belongs to Marvel Studios, it's two different companies that have no say in each other. I wish Spiderman was given back to Marvel Studios so everything could be fixed but Sony is never gonna do that.
It sucks though.
That would be why Spidey's not doing that great. It's being done by someone other than Marvel. That would be why the films were so different to the god damn comics. Wow that's actually really annoyed me.
Sony just stop trying please?
I loved ASM2 and I can't wait for the third one. I think they did it brilliantly. But if they're trying to squeeze all this out of Avengers, that probably means the third Avengers movie is going to be really bad. Once you try and get money out of it, it all goes down hill.
