I feel ya. J is a veteran now, but in school. I'd be lying if I didn't say that the money they give us every month isn't a HUGE help because otherwise - we wouldn't be able to live where we do now. I technically am a part-time employee, but I get full time hours and still isn't that great of money due to bills and rent and everything.
What branch is he looking into?
WELL, now I don't know, lol. At first he was looking at the National Guard because we know a friend in there and junk. But NOW he's thinking he might want to join the REGULAR army instead of the reserves. So either the army or the reserves is where we're at ><
And then I'm glad you have that money! And it's pathetic how many full time jobs don't pay for your basic living expenses. Casey generally makes wnough, but we got behind when some of the rent got lost in the mail, and he certainly does not make enough to cover that. It's one of the reasons the army is attracting him - besides family tradition, his dad was in the army - because while he's gone, I would go live at my mom's and we would be able to save, save, save. THEN we'd have money in case of an emergency and in general, have something to rely on for rent. How does the money they send you every month work?
