I remember getting mad at Yahoo 'cause when I tried to create an email address, it asked me to enter... my email address -.-'

I'm just sick of all these things that are supposed to "make my account safer". I'm not the president of the world, I don't need a code to be sent to my phone to be allowed to log in...
In the end, that stuff's just helping hackers 'cause everyone who knows my email address can steal my phone, reset my password and steal my account.

I can't even make a new email on yahoo because it asks for a cell phone number which I don't have. So now I'm stuck with the email I've been using for the past 3 or 4 years now and 4 other accounts I rarely use. Some might have been recycled by now. (I know my very first email was.)

What annoys me is when some sites don't verify unless you show ID. Why does it need my ID?! What if I don't even have one to begin with?

Yeah, it was a hassle for me to do that with Outlook as well so I turned off all that stuff. It's really not worth it imo considering my main email is for school stuff and not much else. I don't have a credit card either---well, just a card that's a joint one with my mother but it's a debit card so.

Yeah, you should definitely not give your credit card number out unless you're actually buying something from a trusted website ( if you had a credit card). I've never had an email site ask me for a credit card number. It was probably a scam site. What was the name of it?
