    1. As I just said, have you ever gone lost the habit of reading/gone a long time without reading?
Throughout high school, I barely read anything! But like a year after I graduated (I graduated in 2010, so around 2011), I really got back into reading!

    2. If so, have you been able to get back into it?
Yes!! I've read 52+ books this year, alone!

    3. What are you doing for Christmas/holiday celebrations?
I'm not doing anything for Christmas, since my family that lives around here, has other plans.

    4. What has been your favourite book of 2014?
Ahh, that's hard to say! But probably "Throne of Glass" by: Sarah J Maas! (also "The Book Thief" by: Markus Zusak... and like a million others lmfao )

    1. Definitely during my Senior year of high school, I read maybe a couple books a month from then until I finished my sophomore year of college. After that I started reading a little more, but then sort of quit. However, since starting my book blog this past July, I definitely got back into reading. :)
    2. Oh, yeah. I answered that above as I rambled. Haha. For a suggestion I heard from someone else, maybe just try reading for thirty minutes a day. That's not a ton of time and it can ease you back into reading.
    3. Having a couple presents here at home and possibly some special dinner.
    4. You mean my favorite books, right? :) Let's see, my top five 2014 releases are:

Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang
The Truth About Alice by Jennifer Mathieu
Free To Fall by Lauren Miller
Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

I love each of these books so freaking much.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han, Kiss of Broken Glass are good as well.

If you want something backlisted, I read these older releases that I love just as much as the above:

A Midsummer's Nightmare by Kody Keplinger
Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe by Benjamin Allire Saenz
The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
Anna and The French Kiss (#1-ish) by Stephanie Perkins
    Every Day by David Levithan
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn

All of these are contemporary, so if you don't like that, er, sorry. Haha. Oh....I guess I totally just gave you recommendations without you asking. Sorry about that. Lol.

    1. As I just said, have you ever gone lost the habit of reading/gone a long time without reading?

Yup. It usually happens when I finish a book and I don't have anything else lined up right away to read next. Then, by the next time I do get a book to read, the feeling has passed and it's just hard to fall back into.

    2. If so, have you been able to get back into it?

The easiest way for me to start reading again has always been to read during my commute (I usually take public transportation to work) or to tell myself that whenever I'm bored, instead of getting on the internet, to pick up my book and start reading.

I've also found it much easier to start reading again if I have a physical book rather than a e-book on my Kindle. (Because then a lot of times you get caught up with the whole 'battery' issue - Is my battery dead? Is my battery going to die? Oh, look, I'm in the middle of this great chapter and - the freakin' battery dies.

Another thing I do if I'm really stuck is to focus on online fiction (specifically short stories). Since I rather read one shots and internet fiction than not read at all, it can sometimes be a nice way to fill in those places where you just can't get yourself to start a full novel.

    Or re-read an old favorite.

    3. What are you doing for Christmas/holiday celebrations? (Happy Hanukkah!)

I'm in NY with my family for the next two weeks. Shocked

    4. What has been your favourite book of 2014? (I don't have one, I haven't read an entire one, haha.)

I actually didn't read a ton this year and most of what I read wasn't that remarkable. I did finish "Landline" by Rainbow Rowell last month (or earlier this month) and I loved it.

    1. Oh heck yes. When school started back up again, I didn't read much and I have a ton of books that I haven't read yet.

    2. Yes. I started reading a little bit every day, just to get back into it slowly. I would read a little, then do something else, and then read again if I wanted to. That way you make it more enjoyable rather than a chore, you know?

    3. My boyfriend and I are going to my parents house like we did last year. Nothing too special.

    4. All of the books I read are a little older, so I don't have one!

    1. I had a small reading slump last month, but I'm slowly getting out of it.
    2. Mostly I got out of the slump by buying more books XD Seriously, I spend most of my money on books, it's ridiculous.
    3. I'm spending Christmas day with family, and meeting up with friends on the days afterwards.
    4. I read so many good books this year, I can't pick just one. (I made a blog about my favourite books from this year, if you want to have a look.)

If you ever want any book recommendations, feel free to ask, or add me on goodreads.
