It's the way the human body works. Our bodies need nutrients to sustain themselves and liquids don't give us the appropriate nutrients. What liquid diets do is simply make you feel like you're full when you're actually not. Even if the liquids make you feel full, you haven't consumed any actual foods so there's not really anything in your stomach for your body to digest and turn into nutrients and such.

If you have the funds, you should talk to a nutritionist about the most appropriate diet for yourself. There's different ways to do diet and different people can handle different things. So setting up a nutrition plan could probably really help you gain control of your weight and keep that control, you know?

True. I never thought of that. Yeah I think my friend gained all of his weight back but I'm not sure. I'll ask him tomorrow (privately of course because I don't want to call him out infront of his friends).
I'll just go to the gym, eat 2-3 meals a day (lunch, dinner, and a snack because I don't eat breakfast). If I do eat breakfast, it's usually a small bag of chips or a cookie. Maybe a breakfast burrito.

So, um, yeah, hi, I honestly don't know what to say about this, but are you sure you know what you're doing? Because, granted I don't know shit about which way is the easiest way to lose weight, I do know that you and/or your friend are misinformed about this whole thing. I mean there are lots of safer/healthier ways to losing weight. What they are, I don't exactly know atm because my knowledge on this thing is a bit iffy atm.

Judging from the schedule you posted, it seems like you're going to an extreme, an unhealthy one at that. Sure drinking liquids can/will flush out all the impurities/waste/toxins in your body, but you need the proper nutrients to help get rid of even more toxins in your body that only food can provide. And you should definitely consider your mental health because your mental health can go bonkers, all over the place, and yeah. It happened to an exfriend of mine because she didn't know what the hell what she was doing since she was trying all of these extreme diets and became obsessed with how many calories she was consuming and burning...

I don't want to see anyone else go into that kind of self-destruction.

A 'liquid detox' is a quick way to lose weight. However, once you start eating normally again, you will gain all of that back just as quick. Liquid 'diets' deprive your body of nutrients it needs to sustain itself. So once to begin giving it those nutrients you've withheld, it'll suck them up quickly because you've essentially starved your body. Liquid detoxes are generally not recommended by actual health professionals.

Just something to consider, you know?

Yeah. Well, my friend did a juice detox and detoxing every now and again is good for you. It helps rid your body of impurites.

And I will. I just woke up from a nap, so I'm going to go hit the gym Cute

I'm gonna be that person that urges you to see a healthcare professional before taking on such a diet. You might lose weight through it, sure, but this is very unhealthy and just plain dangerous. Your body needs nutrients to feed your organs. It won't get those from juice, water and diet coke, with the occasional small meal.

And if you don't want to see a doctor about this, then I want you to think about why. And if you already know it's bad for you then you need to consider your mental wellbeing. Being fit is about more than what the scales read.

Good luck with achieving what it is you wish to achieve but please be safe about it.
