    Well for some of them that may be true, but for a lot of them I'm not even actually friends with them outside of fb. But omg thank you so much I'm totally gonna use that!

    Am I right in saying that you want to stay friends with them but you just don't like the content they share or post?

    Via this, there's a way to stop seeing their content but remain friends with them. If you click on the small downward grey arrow at the top right of one of their posts, it'll bring a drop-down menu, from which you can choose to unfollow their posts but remain friends. To better explain, I took a screenshot here:

    Yep. That's the reason why i'm not on facebook that much anymore. Because a lot of my friends post weird stuff and some of my younger relatives, who are 13-17 are always posting lyrical stuff that's aimed at people who made them feel emo. NOt saying that they don't have a right to express how they feel, but being emo doesn't really mean you're depressed and definitely having your mom tell you you need to clean your room isn't a good enough reason to be depressed. Unless my distant cousin's mom was really tearing into her and cutting her down with mean words, which I really doubt happens because she and her mom gets along fine.

    Facebook seems to be a place where drama happens.

    Yeah, I truly hate FB. I'm only on it so I can keep in touch with friends, but it's to the point where I don't even bother looking at my news feed.
