Finally someone who understands! Almost none of my friends that live elsewhere know where Indiana is.

And I don't ever participate. I don't have the most liberal parents in the world, but they're getting there. I kind of just bypass all the fun events that Indy hosts. I prefer to be in the house. And yes, I've been to Fort Wayne. It's where I was born, so I go there every now and then. I do like it very much.

I figured it was in Santa Claus. Haha, such a funny name for a city. I actually haven't been to Holiday World yet. I'm sure I'll go some day.

As someone that was born and raised in Indiana, I can relate to the entirety of this blog.

I'm really sad I missed Pride on Saturday, however there are also prides in Bloomington and Fort Wayne (if you haven't been to Fort Wayne, I highly recommend it. If you think Indy's downtown is beautiful F.W's is gorgeous).

Holiday World is located in Santa Claus, IndianaCute I highly suggest you go at least once, because it's super fun.

There's always something going on up here. Just this weekend, my city hosted the biggest pride festival our state has ever had along with an art fair and a soccer game for our city's team. But other than that, there isn't much to do. I think there's Holiday World somewhere, but I personally like the activities in the neighboring states.

And I found it on Google, haha, by searching "Satirical Maps of the US." On one I found, Indiana was even called a black hole.

The word aids is right on top of where I live. Like wtf? Where did you find that image? OMG NO!

Your town sounds like mine. We're pretty sleepy and slow, unless there's like an Oyster festival or a pumpkin festival (around Halloween) or a Spring festival going on but the biggest thing that goes on in Maryland, or at least southern Maryland is the fair in september and the fourth of july fire works at Solomon's Island.

I think my town is more of a redneck/fisherman type of town because of how many people like to fish, hunt, and farm here.
