This was a very interesting read!
My geography is so bad that I didn't even know Spain was even closer to UK than I thought.
I didn't know where Wales was until I was 14.
I've visited Murcia in Spain and also the island near Spain called Majorca (please correct if I'm wrong; this was a long while ago).
I loved the weather there!
We stayed in a nice apartment by a golf course (Murcia), it was a pretty area for sure.
I still get so disoriented whenever I step into another country and find that ours is one of a few oddballs which drive on the left.
Why, Britain, why?

Mallorca*. It's okay, hon, we pronounce the jays differently. Like a heavy h. And the double l is basically j. So yeah hahaha
Murcia is very near Cádiz! It's a great place, really.
