Well, my writing process consists of me writing whatever comes to my bead, going back over it to correct my spelling and grammar as best I can then posting it, as it's more of a rough draft and if I feel it needs more details I'll add them editing once it's all done.

For me, I used to update at least once a week, but I have this strange way of writing out my chapters in a notebook, editing them, typing them up, editing them, and then adding all the little bits and pieces afterwards; this was last year during school also...

Now, with my school schedule almost killing me, I update every two to three weeks, this gives me time to think out a chapter and typically gives me enough time to set up everything. I'm not too sure how your writing process is (like I said, mine is a little strange), but it works out pretty well for me.

Sorry, I don't know if that really answers your questions. Embarassed

I don't think I've ever posted multiple chapters in a day but that's just because I'm a really slow writer. I have to nitpick a chapter apart before I'm ready to post it.
I find it's sorta like... the longer you leave updates, the more readers you lose from the original bunch of readers. But then if you're finishing a story later as a result, you gain more readers over a period of time. It's damn hard to find dedicated readers for anything.

And I think too that the longer you leave it, the harder it can be for readers to remember what's going on, even if they were really into it. And they may not feel like re-reading it at that point.

But then if you update daily, you may get less comments from some that might otherwise comment more regularly given updates that were spaced further apart, cos it can sometimes feel a little bit silly commenting someone's story every single day if you're saying roughly the same things lol. Unless you get someone that gives like, incredible comments. Also hard to find.

I guess I'm trying to say that in my opinion, it doesn't really matter. I mean I wouldn't post like 30 chapters in one day because no one will see it unless they're searching for it, but from experience I wouldn't leave it a year between chapters either lol. Update when you feel like releasing something new into the world. I think that's the best way to work it.

haha I knoww what you mean.
I still have stories that haven't been updated for a month or two.
I usually try to update once a week if I have inspiration.

I try and update at least once every two weeks, sometimes once a week if I've got the material down and I'm happy with it, but that's just the way I do it.

Well if you decide to subscribe to me, I can assure you if I don't update for two weeks doesn't mean I've stopped updating lol

But thank you, once a week should work, it will give me time to make more updates since really for the most part I'm just transferring updates from Wattpad which I have a few of.

Personally I like once a week best.
I have a bunch of stories I'm subscribed to and they haven't been updated in 2+ weeks.
After 2 weeks I give up hope that they're ever updating and I unsubscribe.
But it's really up to you. :)
