"Not like other girls" really bothers me to hear, as someone else saying it or as the girl saying it, because it always sounds like, "I think I'm a special snowflake" to me. Which, you know, there's nothing wrong with. Love yourself, etc. But NOT at the expense of others.
I feel like there are no such things as 'other girls' because if you get to know any girl, there's always a lot more to them than what they put on their face, how many photos they take, the vocab they use etc. It's such a stupid concept too because a typical non-other girl can go out wearing makeup one day and a short skirt and suddenly she's none of that intriguing non-other girl she was when she woke up in the morning.
