Yeah, that's why I was like "Why in the hell are you inviting me to this shit?" But it seems more laid back than I expected. And yeah, I only know one of these ladies and she's always been very open about this stuff anyway. So it wouldn't be too weird for me.

The only person who would go with me would be my best friend, and she we no longer live near each other. All of my other friends are way more conservative and and closed minded.

See thats pretty interesting. Though, the whole talking about sexual toys is... probably a bit odd. Id be more open with srangers than friends. Especially the ones I have cause theyd only be able to see me as a giant dildo.

The more you know, right? Woder if there are open invite parties. I wouldnt ever be able to have one here at my house and my friends are kind of closed minded when it comes to toys or any kinda sex that isnt one on one with a male spouse.

one of my co-workers is sooo into pure romance and invites me alllllllll the time to her parties. i don't mind, but like how many times can i decline her invites or remove myself from her group before she gets it? lol.

I have a friend who does these parties. And they’re basically just yeah, checking out new toys and stuff. Pure Romance is the brand they try to sell. So it gives you a chance to ask questions and check out the products before placing an order (obviously not testing them but you can still look them over ;) ). I think it also helps keeps things private too. Because you can’t always guarantee that your online order box isn’t going to blast the brand right on the side (or come in the shape of a dildo like that one picture I saw on Tumblr). And you can ask questions and get the product that works for you and your needs. Versus just buying online and hoping for the best or going into a shop and just picking whatever looks nice. But they’re mostly just chill and it gives you a chance to open up and talk to other ladies about sexual things that you might not be able to talk about in casual conversation or with certain people. Or ask questions that you might be too embarrassed to ask otherwise.

However, I should clarify that I haven't actually been to one of her parties. But she keeps inviting me and that's the rundown she gave me because I was like mortified when she first invited me. But she just gets wine and a bunch of girls just hang out and look at sex toys. No biggie. If I could find a babysitter I'd probably go.
