I'm glad I could make you laugh. But no, thats what the US will become with Mr. T as our Pres. We're doomed either way unless people realize there is an independent option running for president.
    -le sigh-
Eh, I looked at Createspace but I don't like the interface as much as I like Smashwords. I've heard positive things about both.
I'm glad someone enjoys it. I loved writing it. Its so light hearted that I dont even have to think when I write.

HAHAHHA TRUMPLANDIA. that was the best thing i've read today lmao. I don't like Trump at all but I won't get into all of that.

Honestly, if you're rewriting it then I don't see why they wouldn't give it a chance. And have you looked into Createspace? I heard that was a good site for publishing.

and yay, I miss that story so much. I might have to reread it.

I'd divorce my boyfriend if we were married. We literally have opposite political views on almost everything so we don't talk about it. Same with me and my dad. Honestly, my dad and boyfriend should just get married and dance off to Trumplandia together. </rant>

Its okay, some publishers might now even touch my book since its been posted online. Who knows.
I just doing research and honestly, I'd probably published using Smashwords, it gives back authors 85% royalties whereas Amazon only gives back 70%. So like, if I put my book at 3.99 it would be 3.99 x 0.7 = 2.79 or with smashwords 3.99 x 0.85 = 3.39. Its only a $.60 difference but when its a hundred books it matters.
Everything just depends on how I decide to approach it. If I get someone to edit for free (or cheaper than what I found (freelancers will charge by the hour as low as $12/hr or as expensive as $100/hr) or if someone else makes my cover (maybe I'll ask the great and amazing Cali XD) then the price can be lower because if I spend 0 dollars then theres no where I can go besides up.

It makes me excited to think of these things but at the same time it brings it all to reality.

And yeah, I want to update it this week maybe. I have to see how I'm feeling about writing something else. Maybe I'll set a goal, if I make one extra chapter and edit another I will work on TLoaV.

I don't even like getting into politics because it's just a touchy subject with people.

But yeah, that makes sense. I wasn't sure about that, that's why I asked. Is TLOAV ever going to be updated? I loved that story.

and yikes, that's expensive. I mean depending on how long your book is, you can have a set price for it or something.

I think everyone should have one. If I was president there would be a money tree in every yard of every home in America. I'm campaigning for the 2020 presidency, do you think I'd win with that approach. Jk, politics piss me off.

I took down all the chapters a month ago with the exception of chapter one and two. I'll keep those up but if I'm going to publish I wont be able to have it online at all and if I self-publish it would be money from my pocket because it would be available free.
At this rate, I was thinking I am going to need at least $300 to self publish it (editor and cover). I just found a person on facebook who makes AMAZING ebook and wraparound covers that I really want to have done once the book is ready. Its going to be at least a year, maybe. I edit a chapter every two days or so but because When Night Falls isn't even finished yet it could be awhile.

I agree. I could use a money tree as well. I don't even want to adult anymore. But well, maybe it's a good idea you're not putting it on Mibba. Are you gonna keep the first draft on here though?

But maybe once your new job starts, things will get better. Mibba does depress me at times as well, but lately it's been okay.

I was planning on it but as I started to rewrite it I decided that after this time its the last time. Everything will be perfect before anyone else sees how its doing. I'm probably going to see if I can find an editor on here or see if I can pay someone to edit it once its done.
I wish money grew on trees. Like a legit money tree because this whole being broke as fuck every month thing is getting to me. I plan on it, hopefully, we'll see how my moods are. Mibba depresses me sometimes.

oh, that's a bummer. Well whenever it's published let me know and I will buy it! I thought you were going to put it on mibba, haha. But I'm glad you're doing okay. I know that feeling with money. I'm always stressing about it. I hope your on mibba more often though!

Alas, I kinda of miss having a piece of internet to come home to every day. I've been good, my blog pretty much summarized up how I've been doing. I start my new job Monday so I have some time on my hands between now and then but I'm stressing out about money.
It's good. Odds are not likely it will be reuploaded to Mibba. At first I planned to but I've put some thought into it. I'm redoing the formatting to submit as a manuscript so I can submit it to publishers. If that doesn't work then I'll probably self-publish on Amazon or something. The way it is formatted now is against Mibba rules and guidelines and it will take forever to reformat just for Mibbs.

I've been alright! just been working as usual and living on Mibba as usual. How is everything with you?

and I can't wait to read When Night Falls after you rewrite it. How's the rewrite coming along?

    Thanks Brit!
    How have you been?
The lack of Mibba has focused me. I can't focus on layouts and story pages or contests that I have an amazing idea for. I deleted all the documents of other stories off my computer (they're on my google docs) so I could only focus on When Night Falls.
