Hug I think a lot of people coming out of uni these days are feeling the exact same way you're feeling. The job market is a mess - whether you have a degree or not - if you're entering without prior work experience (which is the case for most people after they graduate). You come out of uni thinking, Okay, I've got a degree, that should put me ahead of the game, and it just doesn't anymore. You're expected to have a bachelors degree, and a masters degree, and a PhD, and five years experience, just to get an entry level job - and so many of us already bankrupt ourselves just getting the bachelors. It's crazy.

I definitely get comparing yourself to other people your age (other friends, schoolmates, family), but if you look, you'll see that a lot of people are at different stages of their lives and not just the 'advanced' stages, like those with steady jobs and children. Like, yeah, you might see people your age who are married with kids, but there's just as many people your age still struggling through undergrad, and people your age working part time in retail, and people your age living at home with parents, and people your age aimlessly traveling.

Probably the people with kids and families are just the ones more likely to be super-active on social media. Among my friends, the people who pop up the most on my Facebook feed are people sharing pictures of their kids. But I have a ton of friends that I see in person on a day-to-day that are still living in teeny apartments with like five roommates living off Ramen noodles. They're just less likely to post about it.
