That sounds absolutely horrible....but I'm sure it was a huge relief for you when it was all over and you could just get back to your work. Did anything ever happen to the Wine Lady?

Back in 2014 I was let go from my previous childcare job, but worse than that was that I was accused of doing something to a child there....prior to me being let go. All false of course. The director at the centre seemed to have it out for me and my fellow colleagues that I'd worked with for three years...by the time I was let go, there were only two staff members left from when I started. (Childcare in Australia does have a big turnover of staff, but the turnover at that centre was ridiculous....felt like we had twenty new staff in the space of 3 years...sadly all due to that director.)

I don't believe or agree with karma, because as a Christian, I tend to go the forgiveness route, and see it as all part of God's bigger plan for my life. Especially as I'm now at a much better centre who appreciate me, and everyone who works for them. However, I just recently found at that that director is no longer there. I don't know the reason she's moved on, but a tiny part of me thinks maybe the board finally realised she wasn't any good for the centre...

Still, I don't dwell on it and prefer to think of all the good that happened because I was let go. In the space of two months after I was let go...I got a new job, met my now husband and have grown as a person because of that awful situation.
