i find it's great to just allow them to vent their opinions, you vent your opinions, & then you take it as a compliment, ya'know? that you don't think so specifically. like...i'm pro-choice. i'm pro-gay rights & interracial marriages & what not. but if it came to finding someone who didn't see that specific way it's like: well can you tell me why? & if you can, wonderful (wonderful as so you're not being an asshole about it bc hellfire will consume you then). if you can't, my point exactly.

but enough about that little rant; it's always nice to find people who take the time out of their day to really make sure you're okay & to bond on such a different level. we really don't find that anymore, especially in our generation when people are just using other people as diaries or journals or just leverage's to not be alone. GOOD ON YOU & THAT GROUP

Thank you!! Yeah, I completely agree. How are you supposed to discuss topics with others if you just get defensive about something, y'know?

Not to get anymore mushy than I already have, but it really is. I consider these gals some of my closest friends and honestly, I don't even know what I'd do if I didn't have them in my life. We are all very blessed to know such a wonderful and supportive group of people!

aw, this is cute. i love seeing friends appreciation blogs, so congratulations on your first year! i agree w/ you though: that you don't have to be friends w/ people that share different views. i also think that being open minded & understanding should help see the viewpoint of other people & why perhaps they believe in certain things, even if you don't agree

still; it's nice to think you guys get along so well. mibba really is a community that brings together wonderful people

Being open minded and understanding doesn't mean you have to be friends with the people that don't share the same views.
