I know, right? That's the exact excuse they give my boss too, and neither of us buys it at this point because honestly in today's age, MOST working parents aren't home on weekends for their kids. It's just a thing that happens, and most kids can deal with it. It's not like these ladies are at work from dawn til dusk, we're off by two or so most days. They would be too, if they'd stop riding the clock. But that's another issue all in its own.

I misss you too! My phone hasn't been on all week and until Matt adds me to his plan in a couple weeks, I'm mostly using his phone since mine became a piece of crap and doesn't let me message or receive calls hardly ever anymore. My boss ended up telling them they needed to start working weekends or find something else, so they all quit. We've got four housekeepers now, but are working on hiring more that will work weekends for the first two months of their employment, save for one weekend a month so the rest of us have some off.

Having to work every weekend is something I'm dealing with, it sucks. The excuses I get are because everyone else has kids and I don't, I should work every weekend. I have a life, too? Pisses me off so much.

miss you. glad things are headed good for you and your guy. also...what are weekends? lol but keep standing up for yourself. let those ladies know that everyone deserves a weekend off and if they don't want to work it, then find a job where they don't have to. ugh i hate people who want to make their own schedules.
