For Us Writers - Comments

I do agree with a lot of people commenting, it does seem like only the Frerard's get comments. And a lot of the het stories, which 70% are extremly well written, are overlooked. I don't think this is at all fair.
I do indulge in a lot of Frerards. But if some-one gave me a well written, interesting het fiction. I would happily enjoy that more than a Frerard, any day.

I do love, all of, my readers. But I want to bang my head against my keyboard when I get comments than just say 'Update soon?'
That doesnt help me at all! :(
I spend my spare time writing these chapters. And two words is all they deserve? That probably don't even take 5 seconds to type! :(

I put so much more effort into my work than some of those people; hell, there are so many Frerards on here that I'm sure some of them are copies!
But they're the ones with 341241545873945834 comments and 10 stars.

I feel undervalued as someone who writes (can't call myself a writer) because I actually feel for my characters, when all these people do is scribble down some badly written badly introduced boysex with no real story and they get comments, readers and subscribers by the ton.

It's one of the reasons why I wanted to leave Mibba.

But some of them don't. I have a Frerard with 21 suscribers but only 24 comments from like 4 or five people.

Unashamed & GreenDayRockMySocks : What you said is very much true. I've read a really bad story once (it was fifty chapters but I couldn't get myself to read through the fifth) and it had over 200 comments and a 5 star rating. Is that fair? Hell no.

why do all the stories with bad grammer and all manage to stay on the list? Because one of mine has been taken off for bad grammer and i did a grammer check on it on Word. I dont get it.

Yeah I completely agree. I'll be really proud of something (a poem, a story) and they never get many comments. And yes, it does lower your self esteem. And then you see all the stories with awful grammar and puncuation and spelling and punctuation and they have like 142 comments.

I know. it makes me feel as though my story is stupid. I dont comment every story I read sometimes I do. Like yesterday I was on and I read this Girls story it was really good and it was on chapter 6 and nobody had commented and I commented it because it isnt fair when someone puts time and effert(sp?) into their story you should comment them its only right.

I understand.
Sometimes I just don't comment because I'm lazy, but I've also been not commented for many times.
It's horrible when you write a chapter, and then no one cares enough to even be like "oh, good! update plz."
