I study in the Philippines, at a Christian school, so I've never really experienced that kind of stereotypical discrimination, but I do know how it feels to have that little nagging thought in the back of your head insisting that everyone hates you and that kind of nonsense.

Don't let those losers get to you; they don't know anything. If they did, they wouldn't be doing such horrible things.

Stand up for what you are; if they call you 'emo', even if you know you're not, it's just a label. Be proud you're not and will never be like them.
