I know how you feel, but your parents do have a point. They are just worried about you. I went through the same period in my life as you, and i was really angry at them. But now i realized that they just want me to look nice and for the world to not judge me based on appearance. I still clash with them about clothes, but I realize where they are coming from.

They just don't want people to see you negatively, they want people to give you a chance to get to know you, not get scared off by your appearance. It's a sad, sad world we live in that people do that. Your parents are trying to protect you.

well i dont really know how you feel because my mom lets me dress the way i want. well she lets me dress the way i want but when we have like family portraits or whatever she is like 'wear you makeup a little lighter, dont wear black clothes' blah blah blah blah...and i told her no.
