God if it happened at my school they would round me and about 2 other kids up.
My school consists of surfers and sport freaks.
I hope for your sake it stops soon.

I wish they got arrested, but they didn't, the only thing that government said was: "Take better care of your kids" they are planning to bring this to Mexico City, too. I thought there was more movements.
And this not only includes emos, I know there have been things like this before, I'm not so naive. What I'm trying to do, it's to stop this class of movements, even if they are anti.emo, anti-hippies, anti-Gothics... whatever, just don't beat up other people

I'm not even going to bother reading this. All I have to say is this:
You guys do know emos aren't the first to go through with all this, right?
Hippies were hated.
Greasers in the 50's were hated and beat up all the time.
Punks in the 70's were treated like shit because most of them were working class to begin with.
So...don't ask what the world is coming to.
This has happened before.

I didn't say that just to say it.
I said it to say something more a long the lines of 'Alot of people I know and myself would get beat up because of what they're labeled or even look like.'
And people getting beatings because others are trying to prove their point, thats just not right!
Its called the Freedom Of Speech.
Everyone has it, even the Anti-Emo people, but that does not mean that they should be able to beat people because of what people label them as.

Honestly emo is dead. It's been dead for a long time.
Sure they didn't deserve the beatings, but the people wanted to prove there point.

There better be serious consequences before this ends up going waaaay too far!

I'm sure they'd get arrested for this, wouldn't they? You can't just gather together and start beating down other people, because they're "emo". Actually, committing a crime based on bias alone, I'm sure is pretty illegal. This is a hate crime, there's no way they'd be able to pull through with it, without suffering the serious consequences.
