I hate when that happens. It happens at my school. Except, at my school, barely anyone has any kind of talent, so everyone got in the talent show. Here, everyone tries to be like the popular people. I kind of don't like that they steal my style of clothing. I started it at my school, it kind of sucks. Most people are into rock music, the only people to watch out for are the popular people who are into rap/hip hop. They're nice until you say something they don't like.
I know how you feel. For the lead in our musical, they picked a girl who couldn't sing. And we thought they must have been some kind of deaf people or they only like the eighth graders. My friend (who has an amazing voice) got sort of a big part yet not really. :|
