Giving Up on Writing - Comments

Just because people shoot you down doesn't mean you're a bad writer. Even the best of writers out there get flamed and shot down. You just have to believe in yourself, and ignore the people who beat you down, because the majority of them are never right. And besides, probably the worst thing that you can do as writer, is to write for others instead of writing for yourself. What other people think shouldn't matter, as long as you're happy with writing, as long as it's something you really want to do. You are a very, very good writer, dearie. One of the best I've seen on here. If you love writing, keep doing it.

You said something about people will always be better than you.
That's a simple matter of opinion. If you think they're better, see what they're doing and you're not, though don't try to write their way. Just keep writing. It'll work out.

Okay you're like 13. It is insanely rare that any thirteen year old is an amazing writer. You might as well keep trying until you get better.
