Yeah, I always thank my parents for everything they give me, and yet I'm still apparently not thankful for it. But I really am. You have to sound appreciative and actually mean it. Parents can tell when you are being sincere or not. It's one of those crazy tenth sense things parents have. =/

Ahh, I know how that is. I'm homeschooled and have wanted to go back to public school countless times, but my parents refuse (which now that I look back on it, I'm glad they did. Those kids are frickin' idiots).

I don't mean to sound like a total biotch, cos I know where you're coming from with this, but just because you say "thank you" to something doesn't mean you're actually thankful for it. It's kinda like someone were to put a food you despise on your plate and you thank them for it anyway, but deep down you know you hate that food and will never eat it.

I've gotten that same B.S. before. My dad apparently thinks I don't love and respect him, but I do. Not so much for respect, but that's a whole other story in itself.

Anyway, point is, don't sweat these things. It could always be much worse.
