I sure as hell can't because my mom did the exact same thing to my brothers and myself. Plus Lydia knows too because her parents have put her through so much garbage just like mine has done to me. That's why Lydia and I are family now, I'm glad my brother found her.

No, it's not your fault. I did the same thing...for many years I blamed myself for leaving them, but I knew I couldn' t take what my parents were....to this day I still don't know if I can ever love my mother or father the way it should be, but I do know I'm just happy now.

i don't know if you still talk to your siblings or not but still you have a right to hate your mum after that, my dad did the same and i resent him with a passion, don't worry about it.
