Who the hell is Edward Cullen? - Comments

  • Those books are, one word, amazing.
Maybe that doesn't even cover it, but I discovered them the same way you did.
    And now I'm hooked =]

  • No! No sparkly vampires!

Read Interview With the Vampire. I got twenty pages into it and I'm now hooked.

  • I love the new Academy Is album. It's probably my favorite so far. I also love the Twilight books, also really great. I agree with Caveman. Twilight isn't meant to be a deep life changing book, it's just a really good read. I loved it.

I think I used the word 'love' way to many times.

  • Vampires. Don't. Sparkle.

  • The books are filled with cliche after cliche in my opinion. The main characters, and some of the side-characters, have no distinguishing personality traits whatsoever.

The thing is, the woman attempts to make them deep; she attempts to make them poetic, and it comes off more sickeningly hilarious than anything. Even that gets old really fast.

    Anyway. Sparkly Vampires.

  • You know, there's a lot of people who hate the books and I don't quite understand it. Yeah, Bella's kind of annoying with her constant complaining, but I mean- a lot of teenagers complain. Yeah, it was a pretty simple book to read, there's not a lot of depth to it, but that's the ncie things with books- not all of them have to be deep and thoughtful. In fact, one of the best short stories I've ever read was a fanfiction, and it wasn't particularly deep... Most movies aren't deep. Most TV shows aren't deep.

I don't understand why books have to be as well. It's just a charming story about a girl and a vampire. I liked the books, and I'm a 21 year old college student majoring in English. I guess it just depends on different tastes.
