Give up on finding yourself.
Instead, make due with what you know about yourself.

It might just be a phase, I go through times where every single thing in my life is great, but I couldn't feel more lonely.
And I go through times where every thing is shit, but I'm ecstatic.

I think you're just shocked he's still alive.

When my best friend Kenny died, I wasn't upset. Well obviously I was, but at the funeral and everything, I didn't cry. Normally if I just see someone cry, I cry. But I didn't. Even when I heard my girlfriend talk about him, I didn't.

I was just confused; I didn't believe that he was gone.

And I think it's the same with you, except you're not upset, you're excited. Just shocked and are yet to recover.
