Jack's Effing Mannequin...and other shows

I just realized there's a journal option on here as well. Yes. Feel free to say "Lucky, you're a moron"
Ok, so I've decided to use this journal as well to tell funny little stories about things I've experienced over the last 10 years of working with/around/for bands/artists/labels/venues. Sometimes they might be blind items (as I don't feel like embarassing my friends and especially not people I don't know well...at least not directly)...sometimes there could be full on descriptions....

However to start with I just want to throw this out there (if you don't like it feel free to pick it up and throw it right back):

Guess who's going to see "Hammers & Strings: An Evening With Jack's Mannequin" twice? That's right. I am.
I am more excited for this then any other show I have coming up this fall. Two nights at the super itty bitty teeny tiny Blender Theatre at Gramercy. I have one ticket for Friday November 21st and two tickets for Saturday November 22nd. There are still tickets available all you NYC peoples so if you're as in love with the McMahon as I am you should get them.

In other news here's my Fall Show Schedule so far:

September 26th: The Mood at Baruch College, Brooklyn
October 8th: Cobra Starship at Webster Theatre, CT (although I might be looking to get rid of this if my car keeps acting up and gas prices go up again)
October 11th: Cobra Starship at Nokia Theatre, NYC
October 20th: Hanson at Nokia Theatre, NYC
November 19th: The Academy Is/We The Kings/Carolina Liar at Roseland, NYC
November 21st/22nd: Jack's Mannequin at Blender Theatre at Gramercy, NYC

anyone else going to these?
