My very first mosh pit...

My very first mosh pit at my very first concert.

To be quite honest, I knew only one song by the band we were about to see, but I liked that one, so I guess I was excited. I knew they sang in Croatian, and that was kinda not good for me, because I don't understand a word of it. But I liked it anyways.

So... The concert was in Ljubljana (capital) in Križanke (arena). The band was Hladno Pivo (cold beer, if you translate). It started at 20:30, and we went from Celje at 19:00. From Celje to Ljubljana, there is round an hour long trip. We got there around 20:15, but we were one of the first to enter the arena. Me and two of my friends (they are fans of the band, I just tagged along) immediately ran to the barrier. I wanted to be in front of the bassist, so we went to the right side. Then the father of my friends told us, that the barrier and the place were you could mosh is usually off limit. We were shocked, but decided we would stay there anyways. As it turned out, you could stay there. Phew.
There were no opening band, so a couple of minutes after 9 P.M., Hladno pivo came on. At the first song, we were right at the barrier, but the place to mosh was so small, that the people at the barrier were actually in the pit. Don't know how to explain that better. One of my friends didn't like that, so she went back to her father upstairs, were you could watch, but not mosh. Me and my other friend rather stayed in the pit and completely left the barrier. I didn't know any of the songs, but I screamed along anyways and jumped around like hell. It was the best. I could understand the word the singer was saying in between songs, but it was great nevertheless. They had 2 encores, and in the first one, they played one song I knew all the lyrics to. It was Für Immer Punk. Everyone screamed the German lyrics and moshed at the same time, but when the English part came on, everyone stopped and made a hugging chain and we just sang along. It was the best song of the concert.
After the concert we met again outside, where it was raining like hell and we drove home. Me and my friend who stayed in the pit had the best time ever, and the friend who went upstairs had... well not so great time. She was cranky all the way back.

My first mosh pit experiences:
-Learned that you should NEVER EVER wear All-Stars to a concert... goddamn it, that hurt.
-Picked few guys up
-Fell and was picked up before I even touched the ground. By a very pretty boy I must add :)
-Got elbowed in the jaw, bit through my tongue
-Got elbowed in the eye, but no bruise
-Got a pit buddy. He's a great guy. (that guy who picked me up, we talked a bit after the concert)
-Learn you should buy water
-Had the best time ever
-Got tickled (A girl wanted to come through me to barrier and she tickled me.)

That's pretty much it. A have only one photo of the bassist, but it's all blurry so I won't update it.

The best part of this is, I went to a concert, I moshed, I discovered I liked Hladno Pivo, I had the best time ever AND I didn't had to pay for the ticked. Father of my friends did. How cool's that?

And btw. I'm collecting concert reports, so if you have any message me please.
