L-O-V-E.

You know what irritates me beyond no end? When a couple that haven't even been dating for more than a couple weeks start saying "I love you" to eachother. It just gets to me so badly, and I'm probably not alone. The phrase is just tossed around so much now-a-days; its ridiculous. Love isn't even a meaningful word like it used to be.

Personally, love means a lot in my life. I won't stoop down and throw the words around like everyone else. I'll admit that in middle school I used to say it, and it was immature and stupid of me. But now that I've grown up and matured, I know its not just any word. The only people I've said I love you to and meant it were my best friend and certain family members. I still haven't told my boyfriend, because heck, I know I don't love him. I sure do like him a lot, but I'm terrified of the whole love and commitment deal. I'm afraid that he'll slip it one day, and I'll just freeze. I don't want to lie, but I don't want to hurt him in any way.

Love love love love love.
