Elizabeth Raimonde Lane was born March 9th, 1980 to Philip Bernard Lane and Anna Delgado Lauer in Princeton, New Jersey. As a child, Elizabeth "Liza" Lane excelled in school but was on the receiving end of many childish pranks. She was very trusting in nature, and it was something she never fully grew out of.
Liza always had a soft spot for animals, especially birds. Once, she found a baby pigeon that had fallen from its nest and cared for it in her bathroom until it was old enough to fly.
While attending Whitcombe Memorial High School, Liza volunteered at her local hospital's Children's Cancer Ward, where she finally realized her calling as a doctor. She specialized in musculoskeletal trauma and graduated from Princeton University.
Elizabeth Lane has no piercings or tattoos, is fond of the color blue and has never been out of the country. She multitasks well, though she has fainted under pressure on more than one occasion. She loves macaroni and cheese.
