Teenage Love

I think it's ridiculous how adults think teenagers don't know how to love. That we just 'fall in love' with every boy or girl that comes into our lives. That we don't know how to think or act on our own. That every time we say 'I think I'm in love', adults and sometimes our own friends turn their heads because they think it's just another crush. In my opinion, teenagers are the only ones who know HOW to love. We are the ones that want to change the world. We are the ones that can smile when everything in our lives has crumpled before us. We can stand up tall when all we want to do is fall to our knees. Teenage love is completely underestimated. I hope the next time you say 'I'm in love", you mean it, and whoever is listening will believe you.
