Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance

Gerard Arthur Way the Vocalist of My Chemical Romance was born on April 9, 1977. His home town is Newark, New Jersey.
As a little kid because of the neighboor hood of where he lived he wasn't aollowed to go out & play, so he created his own worlds through drawing.
His grandmother, Elena, taught him how to preform & for that I'm sure all the fans are thankful for they are entertained with some of the best preformances.
Gerard Way over came an addiction & has been sober since August 2004. Which is wonderful now that he is an idol to so many & he now has a wife named Lindsey who is his best friend & love of his life.
He is half Scottish, from his father's side, & half Italian, from his mother's side.
His brother Micheal James Way(Mikey Way) is also half scottish & half Italian.
Gerard Way did attend Art school at School of Visual Arts in New York City & he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1999.
