God, 2008 sucked

Really. It did. There wasn't anything particularly awesome about it (besides Obama being elected president, because that was awesome.)

Music probably sucked the most. There were too many crappy bands that put out horrible albums. The only albums that came out this year that I really liked were Pretty.Odd. and Black Ice. Everything else kinda sucked monkey butt. I was going to make a "Top 10 albums of 2008" list, but then I realized that almost everything I bought this year didn't come out this year. Most of my musical purchases this year originally came out at least twenty years before I was even born.

I'm not even going to get into the economy or politics or any of that crap, because most of it was just plain depressing this year.

Here's to hoping that 2009 will be a better year.
