once in a while

as seldom as this occurs, today was a pretty good day for me. usually i tend to keep to myself, preferring solitude to the immature and rediculous ridicules of others. but today i thoroughly enjoyed the presence of a select group of others. once in a while it is nice for a not-so-close-friend to say hello to you before class or a cute boy to laugh at the snide remarks you make under your breath. i admit i even enjoyed the immature mock-flrtations a fellow class-mate aimed at the teacher. once in a while it feels nice to discard of the problems of my issue-saturated life and enjoy the simple immaturities that go along with being a teenager. once in a while i like to be a normal kid. but only once in a while.
