love for dummies?

so theres this thing called love.
i believe it hurts like hell but can also feel like heaven
it seems that even the smartest of people cant understand the real meaning of love
so why is it so hard to understand...?
the otherday i went to the library, I found this book called the 'computer viruses for dummies'
and there was a whole section...
macs for dummies, electronics for dummies etc
if they can write books for dummies then the most basic and fundametal thing they should start with is love
because it is so unpredictable
there is no formula, no cure, no science about it
is that why people fall in and out of love so easily?
because we have no idea what it is?
i know people that think they know everything about love
they think they can get anyone they want
but is that love?
is having a random fling called love?
someone should make laws for love
or at least rules...
or a definiton would be good -what is love?
they have laws for this thing called gravity -issac newton
in which after reading them you still have no idea what it means =="
they have all these guides for high-tech things
but what about the most important and simpliest of things?
Love.
surely is must be stronger than gravity if people are willing to get hurt and fall back into it again
so why arent there any step-by-step guides?
is that why people are stuffing up?
because there isnt any real and genuine love anymore?
help needed...
looking for information and rules that might help me (the dummy) understand this complicated thing called love.
