NYS Summer Young Writers Institute?

So yes. As we all know, I'm into writing, so my English teacher gave me this program application for a Skidmore summer program. It's $665, and there are only thirty-six entrees being accepted. They expect my best writing sample (Maximum of fifteen pages). It can be poetry, story, etc. Anything! I'm not good at poetry, but this is the chance of a lifetime for me. Can anyone give me ideas on what to write, and then follow through on giving me advice once I've written it? It would be extremely helpful because you really don't know how important writing is in my life. I want to be an English teacher when I grow up. Yes, gay, but true.
