Why can't women like classic rock?

A lot of people look at me weird when I say that I like classic rock. I'm almost seventeen and all I pretty much listen to is Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Who, The Beatles and other stuff like that, but it seems as though some people have a hard time comprehending that.

I've figured out that the stereotype for classic rock listeners is "middle aged men" and that anyone else who listens to classic rock is "weird." I think that this is pathetic. Why can't people just get over these stupid stereotypes?

So, if there's anyone on this site that likes classic rock (which I'm assuming aren't many), drop me a comment and we can totally talk about classic rock.

And, no, I don't like Rush. Everything else is okay though.
