I watched it yesterday.
I mean, I've seen the anime and I've read the comic books.
But I'd never seen the live action movies before.
I borrowed them from a friend, and I was crying so hard at the end.
I think it's an amazing storyline. Original and with twists you just don't expect.
Of course, like most people, L is my favourite character.
I think it's just the fact that he's so mysterious and curiously intriguing and you just don't understand why he eats so many sweets all the time. XD
Light though, would definitely have to be my second favourite. Despite how evil he is, he's clever and smart and just...yeah.
If you haven't seen it, or read the comic books, then I strongly suggest you do. You'll get hooked and addicted for sure.
In fact, after watching the movie, I went to the Japanese bakery and bought a whole bunch of sweet things that I saw L eating in the movie, and now I have a Death Note theme. XD
Does anyone else love it loads? I'm sure I'm not the only one who it has such an impact on. :)
