help needed

I am trying to get a story started and i need some ideas.
I am writing it with a friend and we have a few ideas. Please dont steal them lol

Title
Dreamwalkers, or Night Stalkers
Main Plot: A group of kids are trained in the art of Dreamwalking(alows you to walk in peoples dreams and influence them in either a good or bad way, but dreamwalkers are good guys). Eventually they meet up with Street, a young boy raised and taught on the street who thinks he is the only one like them.Dreamwalkers and controlled by the Nightstalkers who appear to be nice people but who are really under the control of the Grey Guard. Who are evil.

I know it is kinda confusing but could any one help sort all this stuff out, maybe some ideas..we have all of out characters so no help needed there.

The story is centered around magic. love and betrayl. bleh
