Trust Issues

How can we trust someone? When people smile instead of frown, laugh instead of cry, make promises they can't keep. It's not fair. No one is ever themselves. They lie to get into your heart and they screw it all up. So how can you trust anyone? When you've known someone for years and yet they don't know a single thing about you. Or you've known someone for just a couple, and they turn your life around. How can you trust someone after you've been betrayed? Can you forgive that person? Or just let them go? What if you still miss them?
