Sticker Kindess

So I'm in homeroom, and it's Thursday, so we have advisory. My teacher starts a video that talks about a random act of kindness. The video said that if you do a random act of kindness, (in front of a teacher, might I add) you get a reward, really it's just a sticker.

My issue with this is that we should preform random acts of kindness without getting rewards. Isn't that how we want to be? People shouldn't have to want to get a sticker to preform acts of kindness. Sure, if getting a freakin' sticker helps motivate someone to be nice, then maybe it's a good thing.

Another thing is what if it's not in front of a teacher. I am nice to random people on the street, or I'll help an elderly person, but none of this happens in front of a teacher, so I would get no sticker....:(

Overall, getting a sticker for being nice is bribery, and defeats the whole purpose of doing something for somebody else. The idea is fine, but it's worthless. Sorry teachers, I don't exactly agree with your idea of sticker kindness.
