Whats your View on Marriage?

i don't want to get married. It's just one step closer to unhappiness. At the wedding I would probably embarrass everybody anyway, hopping on one foot, complaining about how my feet hurt and I hate high heels, every five minutes asking if we were done yet, and my vows would be the signing of a pre-nump [Sp?] and saying 'I really hope we don't need this.' Obviously I'm not into all that mushy stuff and public displays of affection/happiness. But I really don't get the reason why most people got through all the trouble. It's the same as being a couple but your unhappy, and you have ring on your finger. Why go though all the crap when more than 50% of marriages fail the first 3 years?
