Mythical Creatures

Hello People.
Just looking for some help around here.
So, I'm writing a new story. (YAY!)
I wrote it to replace a story on the hard rive that crashed.
It's not exactly the same, it's just uses the main character from the last one and the same setting.
In this one I'm incorporating mythical creatures; it's really new to what I'm used to writing, but I'm trying to branch out and try new things.
I don' want to be mythical creatures like unicorns, and mermaids. It'd be closer along the lines of elves, and faeries. Basically I'm wanting to be humanoid creatures.
Okay...getting to the point...
Really why I'm here is I'm kind of stuck on what kind of creatures I should use. I want to know what ideas y'all might have.
The creatures I have in mind should be, weak they're going to mainly be used as sacrifices. They have to be human, nearly the same anatomy, but not exactly alike.
So tell me what your suggestions are.
